Midsummer-paintings on paper, 2006:
I named this serie acryl-'drawings' on paper 'Schwedische Reise'; and of course this remembers me to the young Goethe in Italy. I was in Middle-Sweden during the Midsummersummer of 2006; this really influenced my fantasy and my use of colours.

Swedish travel 1. - In 2006 I was in Sweden for a month, making a silo-painting, together with Hilly van Eerten. First we made a lot of photos of the Swedish wooden livinghouses, as sketches for the work to be done.
